September Favourites

This month has symbolised the beginning of Autumn and the beginning of another school year -cries- so I have kept the make-up to a minimum and haven't really tried new things this month. Nevertheless, here are my favourites!

I've had a couple of evenings out where I wanted to have a slightly dewy base, but not too much due to my oily skin, but I've been trying! I was doing a clear out and found this little gem, the Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base, which acts as a primer and a highlighter in one. The fact that I put this on before my makeup means that the highlight is toned down, yet still as effective so it's been a great product.

Although I don't wear any makeup to school, some days I have wanted to just widen my eyes a little bit. I have this Miss Sporty Lash Millionaire mascara that I bought about a year ago, which isn't incredibly lengthening or volumising but it's really great for school, when I don't really want it to be noticeable. It's quite a dry mascara which, in this case, is great because I can't be dealing with smudging all around my eyes when I- inevitably- rub them due to the early mornings and late nights!

My skin is still recovering post-Effaclar K so I've been using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to speed up the process. It smells beautiful and is really calming to use, especially at night- I'll be doing a review soon!
Then I've been using my sample of Clinique All About Eyes which is a really thick eye cream, something I find helps with puffy eye bags but not as much dark circles. I use it at night because its thickness means it takes a long time to soak in, not one for the rushed mornings!

This month I've been trying to tone down the use of heat on my hair, because I've been seeing how damaged it has become. To do this, I've been using Organix's Moroccan Oil Curling Perfection Defining Cream so I can embrace my hair in its natural state! It enhances my curls and keeps them virtually frizz-free, but I have to be careful not to overload this on, otherwise it will make my hair dirty much faster.
My favourite nail colour has been Urban Decay's Naked in 'Toasted' as it's such a lovely nude with subtle hints of shimmer.

And my favourite song this month has been Counting Stars by OneRepublic, I love relaxing and doing my homework to it- it's such an all-rounder!
