Battle of the Biodermas

Possibly the most hyped up make-up remover in the history of YouTube and beauty blogs, Bioderma has created a name for itself in the beauty world. I have tried two of the Bioderma micellar waters- Sensibio and Sebium, both of which I use for different things.

Bioderma is most known for its micellar water, which is a solution made of micelles. Micelles are tiny oil molecules, which when applied to the face, dissolve the particles of make-up/grime to produce a completely clean face (and a very grubby cotton pad!)
The first that I tried is the most famous one, the Sensibio formulation, which is made for sensitive skin types. As I have oily skin, this is predominantly used to remove my eye makeup, rather than used as an all-over face cleanse. I soak a cotton pad with this and hold it over my eye for about 20-30 seconds, letting the micelle molecules do their work! Then I take the pad off my eye and give it one last swipe, to make sure that all of the makeup is gone.

The second that I tried is Sebium, formulated for combination/oily skin (a category I most definitely fit into!). Once I have removed my makeup and have cleansed my face with a wash, I then put a little bit of this on a cotton pad, wiping it all over my face. I use it as a toner, but it's formulation means that with frequent, daily use, it has started to regulate the balance of sebum I produce.

Out of the two of the Bioderma micellar waters, I much prefer the Sebium formulation, just because I've never used anything that helped to actually reduce oil so well. While the Sensibio one worked well, it wasn't enough to wow me, as I've used cleansers that are comparable and much easier to find! That being said, I do still like it and will still use it, however I'm not sure if I would re-purchase it.

    1. If you can easily access it for a cheap-ish price, then try it, but don't spent lots of money on it because there are others out there that are easily as good!
Thanks for following, just followed back xx
