Benefit High Beam and Cha Cha Tint

In my TropiCORAL set (review here) there were 2 minis- 1 of High Beam, a luminescent highlighter and the other of Cha Cha Tint, a coral tinted stain for lips and cheeks. Benefit's tints are products which I've heard a lot about but haven't had much experience with so I was really excited to try them out. Although these look comparatively small, they have lasted me for months, and I'm sure they will continue to last me for even longer.

At first I was slightly wary of High Beam, because I didn't want an all-out glowy highlighter that would contribute to my skin's oiliness. However, when used in moderation, or mixed in with foundation, this looks absolutely beautiful. It adds a lovely glow, even for oily skinned gals like me.
It has a lovely texture which blends out easily, whether by finger or with a fluffy brush, and fakes a glow rather than being shimmery and unflattering. It's long-lasting and incredibly pigmented, meaning not much is needed for each use.

In the bottle and on the first swatch of it, Cha Cha Tint looks terrifying, like a real in-your-face kind of product that you can't pull off. But don't worry- it's not like that at all! As it is a stain, you have to blend it really instantaneously (I don't know if you can see, but in the second swatch there's a little patch of where I didn't blend it quickly enough!) but then it will give a lovely pop of colour. I've tried it on my lips and didn't really think much of it- I'll stick to the sole lip colours from now!

I've been quite impressed with these, especially High Beam which I did not expect to like as much as I do! Having said that, I don't reach for these over normal powder blushes, because I find it can be such a faff to have to blend in without messing up the base underneath. With these you need to think more about application and spend time making sure you won't mess it up; application isn't quite as fool-proof as I'd hoped! What else is slightly disappointing is the price, with High Beam at just under £20 and Cha Cha Tint at just under a whopping £25, I don't think I would repurchase when I run out.
