March Favourites

I'm so happy that it's finally April! My birthday is this month and it's the month in which the weather (should) start to get better! It seems like there's a trend here - my favourites every month are late, simply due to my laziness to take the photos. So another month, another delay, once again due to all of my work piling up. Anyway, back to the (much happier) topic of beauty!

I've been going for a true deep cleansing mask this month, with the light but effective Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque. Following up with the Tarte Maracuja Oil a couple of nights a week has really helped to balance oil production as well as reduce blemishes - for the first time in a long time I don't have any spots!

As a result of clearer skin, I've had to rely less on foundation and could be a bit more lax on the whole base front, therefore leading to just a bit of concealer. The Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer has high coverage but doesn't go all cakey and make it obvious that I'm wearing it. I have to admit, the Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara has been a staple for me, due to its pretty natural lengthening effect which makes the eyes appear to be more open.

Using the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in 'Thankful' with the Real Techniques Blush Brush to give a natural and long lasting glow to the skin. The brush is unlike any I have tried before, making it really easy to apply blush to the apples of my cheeks and blending it out to avoid harsh lines. Also, I have loved the lightweight and moisturising Benefit Hydra Smooth Lip Colour in 'Lip Service' to give a little colour to the lips while keeping them as soft and moisturised as ever.

Finishing off with the perfume which I deem to be the ultimate spring scent is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh which really is oh so fresh! It has great lasting power and smells so beautiful, perfect for everyday use.

Another month gone, another favourites post done! I look forward to some of the spring releases that I'll be checking out this month and hopefully have some more exciting favourites next month.
