Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

For someone with an ever-growing perfume selection, oddly, I've never properly reviewed a scent on my blog. Back in October I got a rollerball of the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume. It smelt absolutely beautiful and I couldn't resist picking up a full-size bottle in Sephora.
It's such a feminine scent with a slight hint of sophistication, as well as being quite long-lasting. This is a scent that I could wear both during the day and the evening, being so versatile.

Despite the name I would say that this would be liked by all, not just flower-lovers, as the flower scent is really quite subtle. It has base notes of centiflora rose and patchouli and middle notes of jasmine, freesia and orchid, yet when mixed with the top notes of bergamot and tea, it proves to be a full-bodied and sweet experience.

Something that really sets Viktor & Rolf above the other perfume companies is the Secret Service programme they offer. With each Flowerbomb box comes a code which entitles you to one membership to the Secret Service, where you are sent occasional samples. I recently received a beautifully packaged mini body lotion and sample of the perfume, which are both great additions to my handbag.

I really recommend picking this up, with beautiful packaging and a smell that is perfect both for day and evening wear!

  2. I've always wanted to try this scent, but somehow never gravitated towards it in the shops. Now I may have to! Lovely post!
