Korres Lip Butter in 'Pomegranate' - £8 |
The pot is dinky and travel friendly, being a permanent resident (among many) in my bag, as it's ideal for touch ups throughout the day. Despite looking really scary in the pot, the colour that comes out on the lips is a lot more muted and everyday-friendly, as you can see from the swatch above.
It's relatively moisturising but looks a lot better on lips which are in pretty good condition - if you have dry and cracked lips then this probably isn't the one for you. I like it for a little boost of moisture and colour in one, when I'm on the run and need something effortless.
While I like the formula and the colour, the only thing I'm not sure about is the pot itself. Being so small means that when you have used quite a lot of it, dipping your finger in and out can prove to be a pretty messy job. Aside from that, I've found it to be a durable pot so it is very handbag-friendly.
They have a pretty impressive shade range, from a light pink to a deep berry, so I would advise checking out some swatched online. For £8 I'm not sure if it's totally worth it but if I were to find it on offer (like it is here!) I would definitely consider picking it up again.
These have been on my wishlist forever. I'm bummed to hear they aren't super nourishing for chapped lips but I may still try these out.
