Diorskin Poudre Shimmer in 'Rose Diamond' - £32

I'd just like to start by saying sorry for my recent absence from Beauty for the Beauty; the past few weeks have been incredibly busy and so I've barely had any time to relax and write blog posts. I'm still quite busy for the next few weeks but hopefully I'll be able to fit in a bit more blogging and upload posts a lot more frequently! 


This Dior Diorskin Poudre Shimmer in 'Rose Diamond' was not an easy product to find. I searched high and low for it in every House of Fraser, Boots and Debenhams until I finally found it in Westfield London, the last one in stock- don't you just love when that happens?  

After all that chasing to get it, as well as the hefty price tag, I'm pleased to say that it really is worth it! Cased in beautiful packaging that's typical of all of Dior's products, this makes my makeup collection looks so elegant and lovely. 

Packaging aside, how does the actually product inside fare? It's a blusher/highlighter duo with 5 strips of really gorgeous shades, ranging from a rosy pink shade to a beautiful highlight. Applying this gives a really nice sheen to the cheeks, with that slightly glowy colour. If pigmentation is what you're looking for then turn away now, but for those days when you just want a bit of a glowy flush, I would really recommend this. 

If I'm feeling a bit ambitious I even use it as an eyeshadow, as it's not too shimmery and pink that would make it overly offensive. Its blendable makes it such a pleasure to use and, having rediscovered it recently, I know this is becoming a real staple.

At £32 this baby is not cheap but oh is it a beauty! I bought this back in March last year and I've barely made a dent in it, as well as its multipurpose uses making it worth the money even more. As I touched on before, it's quite difficult to track down, being sold out everywhere I've looked online. All I can say is good luck in finding it- it will be worth it in the end!
